#3 – “Visa commercials are cutting into my Me time!”
#2 – “The 2nd grade has been so much better than 1st grade so far. The 1st grade was a little hard because I couldn’t stop talking and I didn’t like doing homework, but 2nd grade is great!”

Ok I guess this won’t look good after the post on celebrity gossip… but OMG Celebrity Rap Superstar is funny as hell!!! I’m sorry some people are just not cut out to even say the word rap, much less attempt it. And some might surprise you.
This one here, she’s about in the middle. Not at all my favorite: Shar Jackson being coached by MC Lyte. But Hef’s little chicky ain’t the worst on the show.
Is urban celebrity gossip. I know I know, shame on me. I’ve never been into the celebrity gossip thing. I could give a damn about who or what Paris, or Britney or Angelina are doing, wearing or screwing.
I blame that damn Wendy Williams. I stumbled onto her on the radio about a month or so ago, and I listened just because I’d never heard her on the radio before. Saw her show on VH1 last season once; way too over the top for me. I wasn’t feeling her. But she comes across different on the radio for me than she did on that show. She’s definitely over the top and load and ridiculously abrasive. But if you take a minute and listen, she does actually have something to say (sometimes). And the people who call up to the show are just Hilarious! To me it’s a ghetto version of the The Bert Show.
So that’s part of the problem. I blame the rest on the 2007 Black Weblog Awards. I went there to vote as I do every year and found some great new blogs to follow. Top of my list has become A Hot Mess. Just straight gossip! But the author is hilarious. And that’s the part that got me hooked, his (I think it’s a he) commentary. I don’t recommend you take a look because whether you want to or not, you will probably get hooked.
Now I spend my morning break checking on what the newest Mess is and spend my afternoons getting my “how You doin’?” fu fu la fix with Ms. Wendy. I know, I’m a sad case! So what…lol
Why are we not hearing more abou this on CNN but Anna Nicole was on the news every damn day for months? Where are the media’s priorities for real? Does real new not make headlines and generate ratings anymore? Oh wait…the Duke boys that were accusd of rap got media attention. Maybe its that this is a bunch of black kids being unfairly taken down.
Somethings will not change no matter how much you try to cover it up.
